Elisabeth Strunk is a Colorado-based teaching artist whose work blends traditional and contemporary techniques across mediums like watercolor, pyrography (wood burning), and hand-painted up-cycled fashion. With a degree in visual arts education and a background in museum programming, she brings over a decade of teaching experience to her workshops, where she emphasizes creative exploration, skill-building, and self-expression.

Her artistic practice draws inspiration from tattoo flash, nature, and sustainable design. Through her brand Flash + Rose, she reimagines secondhand clothing with bold, hand-painted designs, encouraging more mindful consumption and creativity. Whether she’s guiding students through a beginner painting class or leading an upcycling event, Elisabeth fosters a welcoming, process-focused environment where everyone can grow as a maker.
